Recent and Past Events
The Mid-Atlantic Digital Media Network is supported by a variety of online publishers and interactive marketing service providers who host regular events in Washington, DC and Baltimore. These gatherings allow us to learn about their products or platforms, and help us maintain the sharpest, most current sense for the online advertising marketplace.
quadrantONE at the POV Bar
The Thursday before the 2010 Memorial Day weekend, quadrantONE hosted an extended happy hour on top of DC’s ‘W’ Hotel at the POV Bar. Thanks to quadrantONE’s planning and hospitality, everyone enjoyed their time out of the office and digital strategists and online media planners from the area had an excellent opportunity to learn how to achieve national reach via trusted, local websites.
Thinking “.gov” with Google
Google hosted a well-attended event in their DC office to showcase new ways of targeting audiences and constituencies more quickly and cost-effectively. A more popular part of the evening was the sharing of success stories from clients who are capitalizing upon multi-channel strategies across Google products.
WSJ Digital in Baltimore
Baltimore’s famed Brewer’s Art was the site of Wall Street Journal Digital’s event. It was a great opportunity for the close knit community of Baltimore online media planners and strategists to reconnect and get informed on the advertising solutions from the largest online publisher of original business news and financial information.
Undertone Networks was over the top!
On the last Thursday in February, Undertone Networks hosted over 20 DC-area online media planners and digital strategists for cocktails and dinner at OYA. It was an evening of productive conversation and learning more about Undertone’s advancement of the online ad network model.
Many thanks to PointRoll!
PointRoll was in Baltimore to sponsor a rocking Happy Hour for area agencies. Held at Alexander’s in Fells Point, the discussion about the rich-media advertising platform quickly turned into a light show, courtesy of the Wii and Guitar Hero.
Comcast.net kicks it all off!
Comcast.net (Spotlight) sponsored an evening at McCormick & Schmicks on F Street. It was the first meeting of the Mid-Atlantic Digital Media Network and turned out to be the perfect template for future events in terms of atmosphere, collegiality and knowledge-sharing. Many of us were surprised to learn about Comcast.net’s gargantuan online reach in the DC market.
