This is the blog of Fred Jorgensen. I lead digital strategy at Crosby Marketing, an established advertising agency in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore metro areas.
Why is the blog called the Mid-Atlantic Digital Media Network? Well, the original intent of this site in 2009 was to coalesce the paid digital media community in D.C. and Baltimore, ala a 212, DFWIMA or CIMA. That takes a lot of organization and time, so while that continues to happen, I’ve reverted the site back to a forum where I can share some thoughts and experiences that could be valuable for my D.C. and Baltimore colleagues.
The content of the blog focuses largely on the advantages and trends of paid online media, including both online display and search, and some social. It is occasionally supported by an employer, online publisher or interactive marketing service provider (always clearly labeled). Lastly, while my employer and I are always on the same page, I should still say that the content on this site is generated by my own perspective and experience and may not always match Crosby’s point-of-view.
